Description POSITION SUMMARY The Planner Analyst plays a critical role in driving process improvement, data analysis, and strategic resource planning across departments and projects. This position consolidates schedules, leads cross-functional meetings, interfaces with department managers, and senior leadership to establish priorities to ensure timely and efficient execution of projects. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, and skilled at coordinating teams to ensure accountability and performance. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / Master Scheduling: Aggregate all departmental and project schedules into a comprehensive master schedule to ensure visibility and alignment. / Procurement Coordination: Interface with procurement to manage material release timing, preventing early deliveries and optimizing inventory flow. / Engineering Leadership Support: Support departmental managers in resource planning and identifying resources gaps and presenting potential solutions. / Manufacturing Leadership Support: support manufacturing leadership by helping to organize build schedules and identify gaps in resourcing. / Project Management Support: Aggregate individual project plans into master plan to align resources and identify gaps in project coverage. / Issue Resolution: Proactively identify areas needing support, take ownership of challenges, and drive solutions. / Contract & Priority Management: Review contracts and collaborate with leadership to determine project priorities and resource allocation. / Project Data Analysis: Serve as the primary data analyst for projects, collecting, interpreting, and distributing data to stakeholders. / Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and recommend enhancements to planning and operational workflows. / Excel Expertise: Use advanced Excel functions to manage data, build dashboards, and support decision-making. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: / Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. / Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, dashboards). / Advanced proficiency in MS Project or similar. Including resource allocation. / Ability to manage multiple schedules and prioritize tasks effectively. / Strong understanding of procurement, engineering, and project workflows. / Excellent communication and facilitation skills across cross-functional teams. / Ability to interpret and present data clearly to various stakeholders. / Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. / Ability to lead meetings and drive accountability. Education and Experience: / Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related field. / 3+ years of experience in planning, data analysis, or process improvement roles. / Experience working in a manufacturing, engineering, or project-based environment preferred.
