Job Description As a Project Planner with Egis, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules, ensuring that project activities are planned efficiently and executed on time. This role collaborates closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate resources, track progress, and support the successful delivery of projects. You will also be responsible for: Developing detailed project schedules, including defining tasks, durations, dependencies, and milestones using scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Providing advice on how to efficiently manage tasks, meet deadlines, and support analysis of project expenditures to implement controls to prevent budget overruns. Monitoring project progress, identifying deviations from the plan, and recommending corrective actions to keep the project on track. Preparing and presenting regular schedule reports, including progress updates, forecasts, and critical path analyses to stakeholders. Support resource allocation by identifying resource needs and constraints within the project schedule and resolve scheduling conflicts. Maintaining current project risk registers, capturing project risks and track actions to mitigate or remove risks Subcontractor management tasks such as system set up, purchase order requisition management and ensuring invoices are accurate Qualifications Ideally, you will have demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally with an engineering background with experience in a consultancy environment. You will also have: Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Proficiency in project scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. Highly developed written communication skills with the ability to maintain high levels of attention to detail and quality work produced. Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with people at all levels in an informative, accurate and positive manner. Resilience and maturity to manage self and work demands under pressure, takes ownership and accountability for work Ability to work proactively and with minimal direction.
