Job Description The Opportunity We’re now seeking an experienced Project Planning Manager to lead the planning and delivery of one of Western Australia’s most significant civil infrastructure projects. This is a key leadership role on one of our major infrastructure projects. As Planning Manager, you’ll play a central role in driving project delivery outcomes, leading a team of planners, and ensuring strategic alignment across all disciplines. You’ll report directly to the Project Director and work closely with senior stakeholders to keep the project on track from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain the Project’s Integrated Master Programme Establish an approved contract baseline programme, manage updates, and timely submissions in accordance with the contract. Summarise and incorporate detailed design, subcontractor and supplier schedules into the overall Integrated Master Programme Monitor progress against the baseline and prepare weekly and monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders Lead and mentor the planning team, ensuring alignment between programme, budget, and execution strategy Act as the primary contact for programme-related matters with clients and key external stakeholders Support extension of time (EoT) claims through recognised forensic delay and disruption analysis and ensure change orders are reflected in the programme. Required Skills and Competencies What You’ll Bring Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field Proven management planning experience in civil construction, with a strong track record on large-scale ($100M+) infrastructure projects in Australia Proven leadership in managing planning teams Deep understanding of heavy civil scopes, including earthworks, roadworks, structures, services and mechanical and electrical integration Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Strategic mindset with a solutions-focused approach Take on a key leadership position where your expertise will directly influence the successful delivery of this project.
