WHO ARE WE?

South Western Railway (SWR) operates over 1,500 services each weekday across the network and employs more than 5,000 people. We provide easy and convenient mobility, connecting people and communities in South West London, southern counties of England, and the Isle of Wight.

• Review fares and demand across South Western Railway services in the Project Oval area.
• Model and provide outputs on potential revenue impact based on proposed fare changes, considering various factors including travel by time of day, day of week or Seasonal demand variations.
• Understand customer impact on proposed fare changes, both within the Project Oval area and across the rest of the network, to support proposals to stakeholders and the Department for Transport to amend future fares.
• Support the Senior Commercial Development manager in preparing and presenting business cases to Senior stakeholders.
• Maintain appropriate logs to keep track of known issues being reviewed, with a view to resolving as part of fare change proposals.
• Engage with staff and other colleagues to understand challenges of current and future fare proposals.
