Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

As the Legal Billing Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of AMD’s eBilling system and legal vendor onboarding process. The role will administer our legal billing platform, performing first-pass review of invoices and working closely with internal stakeholders, partners and external vendors on issue resolution. You will also manage the onboarding process for law firms and assist with other operations priorities across the Legal Department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of AMD’s billing system, Legal Tracker
  • Administer law firm and vendor onboarding process for various internal systems, including Legal Tracker
  • Answer internal and external queries regarding invoices and payments, acting as the primary point of contact
  • Serve as initial reviewer for invoices and monitor for compliance with billing guidelines and audit as necessary
  • Analyze rejections and deductions, resolve issues, and coordinate between parties
  • Create and close matters and work with teams to streamline processes and optimize the system
  • Analyze key billing and matter data sets and recommend process improvements to ensure efficiencies
  • Provide routine and ad hoc analysis and reporting
  • Assist with timekeeper management and rate review and approval
  • Assist with accruals and forecasting process
  • Provide support with other payment types for the legal department
