We are currently seeking a Project Program Management Specialist to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).
HOW YOU’LL HELP US:
We are looking for a Project Coordinator with 5+ years experience. You will work collaboratively with project managers to organize and communicate all the details of the project and specific assignments to team members, data management and process improvements, and serve as the liaison between those team members and the project managers.
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years experience within the last ten (10) years as a Project Coordinator
- 3 projects with a minimum duration of 6 consecutive months experience in the last seven (7) years.
- University degree or college/CEGEP diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- A copy of the degree or diploma must be provided.

Responsibilities:
WHY THE ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
Project Coordinators are instrumental in our success. We strive to be the first firm clients think of when it comes to fulfilling their technology needs, and our best evidence is successful project delivery supported by our project coordinators.
Tasks may include but are not limited to the following:
- Meet monthly (more frequently as advised by the Team Lead or when necessary) with Project Managers (PMs) of assigned activities.
- Seek attendance and support from Team Lead (TL) in meetings with PMs when required.
- Monitor schedule, milestones, burn rate, scope, risks, and issues of assigned activities under the guidance of the TL.
- Track discrepancies in schedule, milestones, scope, risks, and issues of assigned activities.
- Report discrepancies in schedule, milestones, scope, risks, and issues of assigned activities, to the TL.
- When issues/risks arise, seek guidance from the TL.
- Follow the TL’s guidance on escalation procedures and reporting protocol for risks and issues.
- Ensure PMs enter all required data into Project Management Information Solution (PMIS).
- Ensure data entry and quality standards of data entered in PMIS.
- Through discussion with PMs, maintain data quality standards and accuracy.
- Contribute to reporting requests received.
- Seek advice and direction from the TL when assisting PMs with their project responsibilities.
- Support the TL in communicating expectations to PMs regarding their roles and responsibilities associated with their project funding.
- Participate in committees and project teams when required.
- Participate in training sessions provided to maintain knowledge of trends, developments, systems, tools, and best practices in the applicable IT Business Line Advisory Services (BLAS) discipline.
- Contribute to the analysis of internal processes and the implementation of process improvements
