Description
Implement sourcing strategies to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost efficiency for construction subcontracting services. Act as the single point of contact for sourcing activities related to assigned equipment and services. Conduct RFI processes to identify, assess, and qualify EPC construction contractors, with a focus on the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region. Lead RFP processes for construction scopes, ensuring risk mitigation and value optimization in terms of quality, delivery, and cost. Develop and maintain construction pricing sheets and cost estimation models based on Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and market benchmarks. Perform pricing benchmarking and cost analysis to support competitive and accurate bid evaluations. Build and utilize analytical models to assess sourcing scenarios, vendor performance, and cost drivers. Source and evaluate new vendors using structured scoring sheets and conduct vendor audits to ensure compliance and capability. Select high-performance subcontractors in alignment with preferred supplier lists and category strategies. Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with subcontractors to meet project and company objectives. Collaborate with Sourcing Managers and Contract Specialists to execute contract development and finalization. Document and track sourcing performance using tools such as SAP Ariba. Work closely with the Supply Manager to ensure continuity of supply and alignment with project needs. Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure smooth sourcing operations. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Civil), Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Experience in vendor evaluation, scoring, and auditing. Ability to read and interpret P&ID, engineering drawings, and technical diagrams. Proficient in reviewing and understanding quality documentation. Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Ability to interpret project schedules and manufacturing timelines. Experience in MTO analysis, pricing benchmarking, and developing construction pricing sheets. Skilled in cost estimation and building analytical models to support sourcing decisions. Capable of working autonomously in a fast-paced, professional environment with minimal supervision. Effective presentation skills for internal and external communication. Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships across teams and with vendors.
