Job title: Project Quality Assurance Manager (Site/Office)
Location: Baden, Switzerland & Stuttgart, Germany

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Project Quality Assurance Manager to strengthen our team for the national and international turnkey GIS/AIS high-voltage switchgear division, based in Baden, Switzerland or in Stuttgart, Germany.

What will you do?

  • Ensure quality-related project activities and services are implemented efficiently by suppliers and on the construction site, thus meeting the project-specific quality requirements.
  • Continuous improvement by sharing your knowledge through training and regular coaching. This includes - Regular communication with our project management, the site manager, internal specialist departments, document controllers, and the customer’s specialist managers.
  • Ensure that the construction site organization and subcontractors adhere to the project and Linxon quality requirements.
  • Monitor testing activities at suppliers and on the construction site in accordance with the project quality plan.
  • Inspect completed work and take any necessary corrective actions.
  • Identify non-conforming products, label them, report them, and, if necessary, store them separately.
  • Participate in mitigating negative impacts on the project and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Support the project team with customer complaints, reporting them, and developing timely solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement by sharing knowledge through training and regular coaching.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of relevant professional experience on projects and construction sites of varying size, complexity, and contract types (preferably GIS/AIS high-voltage switchgear).
  • Preferable experience in logistics.
  • Excellent knowledge of quality assurance and quality control.
  • Basic knowledge of quality management (ISO 9001).
  • IT skills (MS Office, document management).

Other specifications:

  • Efficient and possess a high degree of technical, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Identify and resolve problems early on and work constructively to build positive customer and supplier relationships.
  • Communicate your messages coherently and clearly and have the assertiveness necessary for this role.
  • Complete the assigned tasks with a high degree of initiative, flexibility, and perseverance, while adhering to the Linxon Code of Conduct at all times.
  • Maintain an overview, remain calm, and act in a solution-oriented manner, even in challenging situations.

    Education Qualification:

  • Successfully completed a vocational training in civil engineering, electrical/electronic engineering, or a degree in engineering specializing in civil engineering, process engineering, chemistry, safety engineering, or natural sciences, or have comparable work experience in the management of EPC projects for high-voltage switchgear.

  • Auditor training is a plus.
  • Fluent German and business fluent.
  • Fluent English is a plus.
