ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Project Quality Manager for Marine Projects. This role will be responsible for total quality management of complex delivery projects to customers in quality intensive industries. Hence, in addition to ensuring top product quality, the role influences stakeholders internally and externally and drives development of practices, methods and processes. The role is part of our quality team comprising of experienced quality professionals that are ready to support each other in all tasks. The right candidate will have a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. Experience on large customer delivery projects in industrial machinery manufacturing is preferred. The position is located in Marioff’s Head Office in Vantaa.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

• Plan, schedule, implement and oversee quality tasks in customer delivery projects in collaboration with project managers
• Communication with the customer on procedures, specifications, standards and all matters related to quality
• Interpretation and implementation of relevant Ship Classification Society rules
• Influence and drive development of practices, methods and processes

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

• Experience with quality intensive customer delivery projects in industrial machinery manufacturing
• Knowledge of quality standards, including Quality Management ISO 9001
• Experience with quality methodologies, for example Lean Six Sigma
• Understanding of project management practices
• Teamwork and cross-organizational influencing capabilities
• BSc/MSc in Engineering or another relevant field (preferably from the Mechanical field)
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Fluent English and Finnish language knowledge
• A security clearance will be carried out on the person selected for the position
