Job Description

  • Monitoring of the Quality functions and activities of multiple work orders in a project, including Quality Control inspection schedules and the compilation and collection of Quality Records.
  • Provide oversight and assign tasks to QA/QC Inspectors. Work closely with related engineering, construction, fabrication, and other related departments for managing contractor`s performances and assuring adherence to NEOM Quality standards and protocols.
  • Managing Quality and workmanship of day-to-day activities. Having knowledge of all aspects of engineering and construction relating to Civil, Architectural, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical discipline
  • Monitor Quality Control measures on multiple work orders simultaneously with proper coordination and documentation.
  • Develop and implement Quality control and inspection methodologies to ensure compliance with Quality standards, guidelines, and procedures in each assigned task.
  • Responsible for the management and supervision of the Construction Quality Control (QC)/Inspection staff of mainly structural, mechanical, civil, and electrical disciplines in each assigned project.
  • Work closely with QC team in reviewing requirements for processes or products for contractors / suppliers to coordinate elaboration, validation & monitoring of ITPs (Inspection & Test programs) and subcontractors QC plans to ensure compliance with the Construction Quality Program.
  • Provide inputs to improve Quality control procedures.
  • Ensure legal obligations are followed on work orders and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and with health and safety guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Atleast 15 years of proven experience in Construction Project Quality Management on the field/site
  • Managing and coordinating quality control activities for high-rise construction building projects.
  • Experience of piles works, and steel structures is highly recommended.
  • Collaborate with Project Management to define and implement quality objectives, metrics, performance indicators, standardized quality processes and procedures
  • Fluent in English(Technical & Business)
  • Leadership Skills
  • Required to have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of construction Project including Civil works (horizontal and vertical construction, highways, bridges, Hotels, Schools, shopping malls etc.), Mechanical works & Equipment (Structural Steel, Rotary & Static Equipment etc.) and Electrical works (sub-station, control room, electrical boxes, cables, conduit, and wires) etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of project specific documentation related to equipment turnover, inspection, testing, repairs, and alterations including international engineering standards and codes.
  • Knowledge of welding inspection and related NDE methods (MT, PT, UT, and RT), including ASME, API requirements.
  • Experience in the region of projects in mega projects, KSA/GCC market (advantage).
