We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and cost control, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget. This role is essential for ensuring that all financial aspects of construction projects are managed effectively, from initial estimates to final accounts.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in quantity surveying or a related field within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction estimating principles and practices.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
• Experience in cost control measures and financial reporting within construction projects.
• Proficiency in software applications such as HeavyBid, Bluebeam, or similar tools is highly desirable.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management.
• Prior experience working on construction sites is advantageous, providing practical insights into project execution. • Prepare detailed construction estimates and budgets using tools such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam.
• Conduct negotiations with contractors and suppliers to secure the best pricing and contract terms.
• Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Collaborate with project managers to provide accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
• Review contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
• Provide support during the construction phase, including site visits to assess progress and compliance with specifications.
• Analyze pricing data and market trends to inform decision-making processes.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and bid submissions.
