Responsibilities

THE ROLE

You will take full commercial responsibility for projects from pre-contract through to final account. Working closely with our project managers, you’ll ensure every pound is tracked, every risk is managed, and every opportunity to add value is seized.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively manage the project’s finances to ensure client satisfaction while maximising profitability.
  • Accurately and promptly value and report all billable works to maintain positive cash flow.
  • Proactively visit site at least once a month to measure and assess work progress, ensuring that payment certificates are issued promptly in line with contract terms.
  • Continuously monitor current and anticipated spending, identifying and implementing cost-effective alternatives to maximise
  • profitability.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations are met by understanding key contract terms, managing variations fairly, and keeping records to demonstrate compliance.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial matters and project progress.
