QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Clinical research experience preferred, but not required
  • Minimum of 1+ years of work experience, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas and pivot tables.
  • Advanced financial reconciliation skills with a focus on maximizing profits and identifying recovery opportunities.
  • Strong critical thinking and sound decision-making; detail-oriented, organized, and an effective communicator.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Office365 products.
  • Flexible and able to multi-task and prioritize competing demands.
  • Ability to work independently and influence cross-functional stakeholders when appropriate.

Responsibilities
  • Perform final budget reconciliation, analyzing protocol/budget amendments for billing accuracy.
  • Aggregate and analyze data across systems to identify discrepancies and ensure completeness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to confirm LTD figures and investigate/resolve variances.
  • Engage with external stakeholders (CROs/Sponsors) to align on final values and clear open AR balances.
  • Conduct budget analysis and interpretation to inform reconciliations and close-out decisions.
  • Prepare and action final journal entries.
  • Ensure data integrity by validating financial inputs and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
  • Contribute to financial reports, ensuring reconciliations and adjustments are accurately reflected.
  • Negotiate final values with CROs/Sponsors.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Represent Flourish Research in a professional and courteous manner (verbal, written, and in appearance) when interacting with all staff, clients, and vendors.
