This role will deliver investment research on fossil fuel transition risks across jurisdictions and asset classes. The work will produce structured, evidence based analysis of how energy transition pathways evolve across global markets, supporting long‑term investment and stewardship decision‑making. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the Investments function to deliver high-quality, decision-relevant research.   In this role, you’ll: * Deliver transition risk research across jurisdictions and asset classes * Assess transition risks and opportunities across fuels, technologies and market * Develop jurisdiction‑specific insights and comparative case studies * Translate transition signals into clear, decision‑useful research outputs * Prepare concise briefing notes, slides and summary materials for investment stakeholders * Document assumptions, data sources and limitations to support review and future use * Collaborate with stakeholders across investments to ensure outputs are practical and actionable   What You’ll Need * Current or recent undergraduate or postgraduate studies in relevant discipline (e.g., economics, finance, engineering, environmental studies, public policy). * Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesise complex information * Background or demonstrated interest in energy systems, climate transition and sustainable investment/investment research * Ability to translate complex information into clear, decision-useful insights * Strong written communication skills and attention to detail * Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage competing priorities   Life at AustralianSuper AustralianSuper is committed to colleague development, supporting our people with ongoing learning, coaching and training, as well as career opportunities across our expanding organisation.
