MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Engineering, Science, or Business Administration.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in project management and/or project risk management.
  • Experience in med-tech or similarly regulated industry.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing (project) risk management frameworks and tools.
  • Strong organizational skills, high sense of urgency, and attention to detail.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional certification in either risk management (e.g. PMI-RMP, CRISC) or project management (PMP).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in intercultural and interdisciplinary set-up.
  • Able to work under pressure to achieve short-term targets without compromising long-term objectives.
Responsibilities

Process Excellence:

  • Process Development and Implementation: Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance project management efficiency.
  • Training and Coaching: Provide training sessions and ongoing coaching to Project Managers on best practices, tools, and techniques for project management.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address process gaps.

Project Risk Management:

  • Process Development and Implementation: Design and implement comprehensive project risk management processes tailored to the organization’s needs. Ensure these processes are integrated into the overall project management framework.
  • Training and Coaching: Provide training sessions and ongoing coaching to Project Managers on project risk management best practices, tools, and techniques. Ensure they are well-equipped to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
  • Risk Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor project risks on a portfolio level. Report on risk status to management, including any changes in risk levels and the effectiveness of mitigation strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, their core team members, and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach to project risk management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve project risk management processes based on lessons learned and industry best practices
