Here is your chance to join an iconic brand.   This role sits within a major capital investment project and will lead the management of occupational health, safety and environment for Nestlé to ensure a safe workplace is maintained.   A day in the life…   Reporting to the Project Manager, key responsibilities of the role is to execute the Project Safety Management Plan including:   Induct and regularly train all staff & workers with appropriate skill to assess assigned tasks prior to execution. Support the elimination of hazards & risk through task and equipment assessment. Identify and inform on potential hazards during construction, maintenance, cleaning and dismantling and reassembly. Serve as single point of contact with third party OHS leaders.  Liaise with toolbox leader to define safety topics for discussion daily. Participate in the program of work place safety observations Provide coaching & support to the Project team and Line Managers in order to achieve the Project/ Factory's SHE objectives. Ensure that SHE performance data is available and correctly managed. Actively use Nestle risk assessment, permit to work, and incident investigation systems as applicable, as well as ensuring a focus on Caring Through Feedback/ Behaviour Based Safety culture.   What will make you successful   Joining a collaborative team of specialists, you will be a strong team player with a drive to deliver quality outcomes with efficiency and with a passion for continuous process improvement. Tertiary qualification in safety, health and/or environmental areas or related field. Minimum 3 years’ experience in SHE management role. Experience working in food manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of AS4024 Safety of Machinery and AS1657 Fixed Platforms, Ladders and Stairs Demonstrated ability to manage change and deliver results through others. Strong verbal and written communication with all levels of management.
