THE OPPORTUNITY – PROJECT SCHEDULER (ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION)

We’re seeking a highly organised and technically minded Project Scheduler to support our growing Brisbane Construction Division. The ideal candidate will bring an electrical background, with experience in project scheduling, planning, and stakeholder coordination in a fast-paced construction environment.
While an electrical background is preferred, we welcome applications from professionals in aligned fields with strong scheduling expertise.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Project Management Team, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Developing, updating, and maintaining detailed project schedules and programs using industry-standard software.
  • Allocating tasks and labour resources in line with project team requirements.
  • Reviewing and advising on client project programs.
  • Coordinating construction schedules and contract administration from initiation through to project completion.
  • Liaising with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure alignment on project timelines.
  • Supporting the team in Developing, maintaining and managing commercial and contractual obligations.
  • Participating in regular project meetings and providing accurate status updates and progress reports.
  • Identifying and communicating schedule risks, opportunities, and strategic improvements.
  • Preparing documentation and reports for monthly project meetings.

You will also work alongside leadership on:

  • Defining Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) that align with project delivery strategies.
  • Interfacing between multiple contractors to ensure integration of schedules.
  • Forecasting completion milestones and supporting cost-time-efficiency decisions.
  • Monitoring progress against baseline schedules and managing performance variance.
  • Reviewing subcontractor and vendor schedules and integrating them into master programs.
  • Identifying and advising on critical path activities and opportunities for schedule acceleration.
