JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Project Scheduler to support capital projects in transmission, substation, and telecommunications infrastructure. You will manage and maintain project schedules in Oracle Primavera P6, ensuring clear visibility into performance and progress. Your ability to identify schedule risks, communicate with stakeholders, and provide accurate reporting will be critical to overall project success.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration
  • Minimum 3 years of related scheduling experience
  • Proficient in Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving ability
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder

NICE-TO-HAVE EXPERIENCE:

  • Familiarity with Power BI dashboards
  • Experience working in utility or energy sector project environments
  • Exposure to capital project lifecycle from planning to execution

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Primavera P6 schedule development and maintenance
  • WBS and activity coding
  • Schedule risk analysis and mitigation

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Integration of schedules with financial or resource data
  • Power Query and Excel automation tools

Responsibilities
  • Develop, update, and maintain Level 1 and Level 2 project schedules in Oracle Primavera P6
  • Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activities, and codes to support project visibility
  • Build and maintain resource-loaded and logic-driven schedules
  • Identify schedule drivers, sequencing errors, risks, and delay factors
  • Perform quality checks and reporting using Excel, Power Query, Power BI, and macros
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to track technical progress and milestones
  • Ensure integration of schedule data from multiple sources and manage multiple active projects
  • Apply effective use of lags, leads, and constraints
