JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a highly experienced Project Scheduler with a strong background in the power generation and utilities industry to join our team on a long-term contract. The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of proven scheduling experience on large-scale energy infrastructure projects, and deep proficiency in Primavera P6, Earned Value Management (EVM), and Critical Path Method (CPM). In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining project schedules that support the successful execution of complex projects within the Power sector, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and resource plans.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years of hands-on scheduling experience in the Power or Utilities industry.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6, with experience building and managing integrated schedules for energy projects.
  • Strong command of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and performance metrics like CPI and SPI.
  • Expertise in Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction.
  • Strong knowledge of project controls, reporting, and construction lifecycle in the power sector.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, capturing activities, milestones, resource allocation, and dependencies.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and key stakeholders to align schedules with deliverables and execution plans.
  • Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) to track progress and monitor cost and schedule performance.
  • Utilize Critical Path Method (CPM) techniques to identify project priorities and critical activities.
  • Conduct regular schedule analysis, progress reviews, and forecasting to identify risks and delays.
  • Support risk management by identifying schedule-related risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports, dashboards, and progress updates to internal teams and external clients.
  • Provide scheduling support during project planning, execution, and close-out phases.
  • Ensure schedule integrity and timely updates based on scope changes, field conditions, and stakeholder feedback.
