Description
Position Summary:
This entry-level role supports the planning, tracking, and reporting of construction project schedules with a strong emphasis on data accuracy, consistency, and collaboration. The Construction Project Scheduler will work closely with project management and field teams to maintain detailed MS Project schedules, monitor progress, and generate data-driven insights that help ensure on-time, efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Estimating and Preconstruction Support:
Create and maintain detailed construction schedules using MS Project in collaboration with project management teams to drive consistency of project scheduling approach to facilitate project execution
Work in collaboration with project managers, superintendents, and estimators to validate durations, sequencing, and resource planning
Assist in reviewing schedules to spot potential conflicts or delays in task sequencing and suggest updates with guidance from the project team
Monitor progress against baseline schedules and support in noting and reporting any changes or deviations
Generate progress reports and short-term (lookahead) schedules for internal review
Data & Reporting:
Collect, analyze, and input project data from field teams and stakeholders to ensure schedule accuracy and timely updates
Create and maintain data dashboards or reports summarizing project milestones, schedule variances, and performance trends for management review.
Support the project team in reviewing buyout documentation and tracking outstanding items tied to project work
Assist in improving data management processes and schedule reporting tools to enhance visibility across departments
Software & Process Improvement
Research and develop new features of scheduling software and automation.
Review and recommend changes to existing SCI software to increase efficiency
Meetings & Communication:
Facilitate weekly scheduling meetings with project teams and stakeholders
Take and distribute meeting notes, capturing key decisions, updates, and action items
Attend Accounting Level 10 Meetings
Attend weekly Staff Meeting

Requirements
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, data science or a related field preferred.
Experience in preconstruction or project management within the construction industry is a plus.
