You will act as a technical reference, ensuring robust, compliant and cost-effective solutions while supporting business and project objectives. As Senior Subsea Trees Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for: Leading the full design lifecycle of subsea tree components and systems from concept through detailed design, manufacturing, testing and installation Interpreting customer and engineering specifications to define and deliver robust technical solutions Developing and approve layouts, 3D models and detailed drawings in compliance with company and ASME Y14.5 standards Defining functional requirements, stack-ups, materials and assembly procedures ensuring design for manufacture Owning and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensuring correct data handling within PDM systems Planning and leading design reviews, including technical, materials, environmental and safety aspects Performing and approving design verification activities including tolerance analysis, reliability, DFM and engineering calculations Supporting manufacturing, testing (FAT/PVT) and field activities ensuring product readiness and quality Identifying and implementing product and process improvements delivering cost-effective solutions Ensuring compliance with international standards (API, ASME, ISO, NORSOK, DNVGL) and company procedures Mentoring junior engineers and designers, define work packages and lead small teams to deliver on commitments To be successful in this role you will have: MSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) Significant experience in subsea or oil & gas mechanical design Strong knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing processes and design for manufacture Proficiency in CAD tools (CREO) and PDM systems (Teamcenter/IPEM) Strong understanding of industry standards (API, ASME, ISO, NORSOK, DNVGL) Ability to lead technical activities and mentor less experienced engineers Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills Fluent in English Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
