JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Oversee and enhance the infrastructure supporting our Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Ground Control Systems.
• Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of mission-critical systems used in UAV operations.
• Manage virtualized environments, operating systems, and secure networking, with a strong emphasis on automation and system resilience in real-time control environments.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a System Administrator, with hand-on experience in the installation, configuration and maintenance in the following areas:

• VMware hypervisor
• Microsoft OS’, installation and maintenance of Microsoft core services (AD, DNS, GPO)
• Linux systems
• Networking (CCNA Level), installing and maintaining switches, deep understanding of L2 and L3 protocols
• FortiGate Firewalls installation and maintenance, including security policies, VPNs, and advanced threat protection features

IT WILL BE AN ADDED ADVANTAGE WITH MINIMUM 5 YEARS’ EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

• Automation tools, with experience in Jenkins, Ansible and Terraform
• Storage technologies and iSCSI protocol
• Docker technologies
• PKI maintenance
• IP Multicast protocols (e.g., PIM, IGMP) in enterprise or service provider environments, including configuration and optimization
• Network management systems
