Description

Infrastructure Ontario (IO), an Ontario crown corporation, provides a wide range of services to support the Ontario government’s initiative to modernize and maximize the value of public infrastructure and realty. IO has been recognized domestically and internationally for the way it does business and the success it has had with its major projects, real estate services, infrastructure lending, commercial projects, and development mandate. IO delivers some of the most complex, ambitious commercial and land development solutions for the Province and continues to evolve and expand its capabilities to maximize its public impact and deliver on its vision of creating a connected, modern and competitive Ontario.
Project Delivery manages large, complex public infrastructure projects using a variety of contracting models, notably the public-private partnership (P3) approach to procurement and delivery. The P3 model leverages private sector financing and expertise in building public infrastructure with the objective of delivering projects on schedule and within approved budgets. The current project pipeline is valued at more than $35 billion in estimated design and construction costs.
The Project Services Manager (PSM) will support governance initiatives around the Project Management Service Provider (PMSP) Master Services Agreement (MSA) contract, ensuring oversight of quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery of assigned projects and programs. The PSM will also support operational planning for asset renewals across the province’s general real estate portfolio, leasehold improvements, and other client ministry initiatives.
To be successful in this role, the individual must be experienced in the day-to-day oversight of high-complexity projects as defined in the Master Service Agreement, and in engaging with client teams, service provider leaders, client ministries, and internal business units.
Work Location Options: This position offers flexibility to work from any of our established office locations, including Guelph, Toronto, Kingston, Ottawa, Thunder Bay, and Sudbury.

  • Manage on-site escalations in person as required. Interface with necessary stakeholders to achieve optimal project resolutions.
  • Report on project and program status as well as risk management to the Senior Planning Manager, Senior Project Services Manager and Director, as required.
  • Utilize Infrastructure Ontario’s Project Management Information System (PMIS) for document management, review, and action of required project workflows and deliverables.
