The Project Site Manager, Execution – Value Added Services is accountable for contributing to HarbisonWalker Internationals overall business performance by supporting the sales teams efforts for value added service project business in all steel and non-ferrous application areas. This part-time role coordinates and monitors onsite value added service contracts and ensures these services are scheduled, executed and documented per internal and customer requirements. The Project Site Manager, Execution – Value Added Services acts as an onsite project salesperson to the HarbisonWalker International direct sales team responsible for project oriented accounts including engineering firms, OEMs, contract installers and end users. Responsibilities Interfacing with HarbisonWalker International sales team and customer(s); seeking out new project work, interpreting inquiries, generating quotations and proposals; following up on telephone sales and traveling to customer sites to make personal sales calls Serving as Project Site Advisor to manage customer interfaces, supporting technical and commercial requests, and coordinating quality control issues; tracking project coordination design, manufacturing, shipment, and installation.  Advising with onsite construction during installation phase Preparing activity reports and analysis; providing commercial and technical guidance and rulings;  Supporting sales force, technical marketing, project group and contractor installers to secure project business; conducting educational customer visits and presentations Coordinating project work with field maintenance sales, esport agents to promoted consistency and synergy pricing, engineering and manufacturing; initiation the order pursuit and quotation process Overseeing and assisting with onsite construction during installation phase Requirements BS degree in engineering or business preferred Requires experience in refractory installation for all refractory applications  Requires refractory installation equipment operation, repair and troubleshooting knowledge Requires computer operation skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite  Requires strong strategic thinking and business problem solving skills Requires strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment Requires strong analytical skills and the ability to assemble and quickly analyze data  Requires excellent organization skills with accurate and precise attention to detail Requires self-motivation with the ability to adapt quickly Must be able to travel to customer sites as needed Experience and certification for welding inspection a plus, API 936 certification preferred The Project Site Manager, Execution – Value Added Services requires minimum 10 years installing and supervising the installation of refractory product and 5+ years as refractory inspector. Physical and Environmental Requirements Physical Activity:  Requires more than 2/3 of time taking and hearing; 1/3 to 2/3 of time standing, walking, using hands and fingers and reaching with hands and arms; and less than 1/3 of time sitting, climbing or balancing, stooping, crawling, kneeling or tasting and smelling.  Lifting:  Requires lifting up to 50 pounds more than 2/3 of the time; and up to 100 pounds less than 1/3 of the time.  Vision:  Requires accurate, distance, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.  Environment:  Requires more than 2/3 of the time in areas exposed to fumes and airborne particles; 1/3 to 2/3 of time working near moving mechanical parts, working in high precarious places, in areas exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, in outdoor conditions, exposed to extreme heat (non-weather), risk of electrical shock or vibration; and less than 1/3 of time working in an office setting with limited exposure.  Noise:  Requires exposure to very loud noise (over 85 decibels)
