We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Project Specialist II on our Professional Satisfaction/Practice Sustainability (PS2) team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 3 days a week in the office.
This position is responsible for the development and execution of projects/ initiatives focused on improving the quality, usability, and adoption of clinical technology, including electronic health records (EHRs), digital health solutions, and AI. Collaborate and align with other AMA units, partners, and vendors to ensure implementation of project. Conducts qualitative and quantitative research, assessments, evaluations, and analysis activities to support AMA-led digital health initiatives that aim to further expand the knowledge base available in digital health and achieve the AMA enterprise goal of making technology an asset and not a burden to physicians.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, or health care policy is required. Master’s, preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years professional experience in project management, planning and execution or equivalent skills. Market research and writing experience a plus.
• Demonstrated healthcare experience required.
• Experience of business or healthcare research experience in an academic, government, corporate or non- profit setting and knowledge of digital health preferred.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills are required. Knowledgeable of data collection methods and strong ability to develop data collection tools that will achieve research objectives.
• Experience with collecting, organizing, cleaning, analyzing, and reporting qualitative and quantitative data required.
• Strong critical thinking, writing, and tracking/documentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, including the ability to balance work on multiple short-term projects requiring rapid responses with work on long term projects.
• Must work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Highest ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of the work product and the resulting value of market research to the organization.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a sustained ability to maintain a positive individual contribution.
  This role is an exempt position, and the salary range for this position is $72,706 - $96,390. This is the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to business consideration, geographical location, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
