In this role you will be responsible for the coordination of engineering activities and creation of documentation related to the design and construction of water slide projects. The Project Engineering Specialist will be the technical contact for multiple engineering projects and will interact with project managers, clients, sub-contractors, and consultants to deliver quality solutions on time and on budget.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Technologist Diploma in Engineering or Applied Science (Mechanical, Civil, Structural)
• 3+ years of work experience in the construction industry
• Knowledge and experience working with design codes (Ontario Building Code or equivalent)
• Membership with PEO or OACETT is considered an asset
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Enthusiasm for collaborative work as part of a team, but also able to work autonomously
• Ability to meet deadlines coupled with strong time management and organizational skills
• Willingness to work extra time as the need arises, or to assist the team to meet deadlines in the face of anticipated peak work volumes
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with AutoCAD required, experience in 3-dimensional design an asset
• Architectural/Civil/Structural design and surveying would be an asset
