Description Summary: As a Project Superintendent you are responsible for the daily operations of a construction site, including, but not limited to coordinating scheduled work to adhere to a strict timeline, conducting audits, and monitoring safety and compliance. Your ability to be hands-on, adaptable and resourceful will lend you to be successful within this role. Responsibilities/Duties: Open jobsite at beginning of the day and secure jobsite at the end of the day Supervise all subcontractors, consultants and vendors on a daily basis Coordinate work directed in the field, confirm work is performed in accordance with plans and specifications Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion Maintain daily log of activities on the jobsite Communicate with Project Management Team regarding RFI’s and material submittals Gather project material submittals and maintain records of approval onsite Participate in Pre-Construction meetings with each subcontractor Ensure subcontractor is fully executing and complying with contracted scope of work and identify areas of work that are outside of scope Lead weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards and issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors in regards to quality of work or scheduling Maintain full-set of current construction documents, as-built drawings and mark-up shop drawings Maintain daily reports for all onsite activities including pictures Ensure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by Project Management Team Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate to Project Management Provide direction to and resolve problems amongst subcontractors and vendors Walk all units on project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner Perform job progress and completion punch list identification Attend meetings and trainings as assigned Complete projects as assigned Requirements 5-8 years of experience within Construction or Trades Management High School diploma or GED equivalent is required Reliable transportation High level of confidentiality and professionalism when interacting with Owners/Clients Ability to read and understand drawings Proficient knowledge of building products, construction details, and all safety regulations Excellent organizational and planning skills necessary to perform duties Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn other software Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships Ability to effectively manage time, multi-task, and pay close attention to details Self-motivated professional with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Regularly required to move, sit, and bend for various hours throughout the day Ability to travel and visit sites in inclement weather Capacity to physically lift between 50-100lbs
