ABOUT YOU:

We are seeking someone who is:

• Trade qualified and/or has strong project management experience in residential construction
• Confident in quoting and delivering projects up to $500k in value
• Highly organised with excellent problem-solving skills
• Skilled at managing and motivating subcontractors and trade teams
• Knowledgeable in property refurbishment, renovations, and extensions (essential)
• Strong in communication, with proven ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders
• Proficient with computers and job management systems
• Committed to workplace safety and compliance standards

• Oversee and manage multiple residential and commercial projects from commencement through to completion
• Prepare and review quotations, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of works
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, safety, and compliance with building codes and regulations
• Liaise with clients throughout the project lifecycle, providing updates and maintaining strong working relationships
• Assess and prioritise project requirements and allocate resources effectively
• Ensure all work orders are completed, finalised, and documented in line with company standards
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance documentation
• Identify and resolve issues on-site to maintain project flow and quality outcomes
• Uphold SMG Construction’s standards of workmanship, safety, and client service
