Assists in verification of projects/tenders to ensure alignment to define planning processes, as required. Contributes with project management function in the delivery of project, as required, ensuring they are delivered on time and profitably. You’ll be responsible for: Assisting with developing detailed plans taking full cognizance of logistics/site/project constraints. Interfaces with project team, contributes to the production of the weekly progress report to the project team and understand functional obligations under form of contract. Reviewing and capturing productivity to measure progress. Developing effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Incorporating sustainable design and procurement process within integrated programmes. Challenging and ensuring health and safety through programme integration. Assisting, establishing and overseeing project work plans and deadlines. Undertaking tasks required to fulfil the requirements of the project/assignment. Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work. You’ll need to have: Working towards professional qualification (e.g. CIOB, APM, PMI). Other relevant qualifications specific to local requirements. Working towards construction skills qualifications. General understanding of APM principles. Basic competency to produce basic programmes and sequence plans with minimal supervision. Basic software user. Understanding of contract administration. You’ll also have: Basic understanding in built environment and with projects. Basic understanding of different procurement routes and types and forms of contract. Exposure to the principles or use of different types of contracts. Able to respond to all client/stakeholder requests effectively and sensitively. Communicate and present to project team on programme drivers, goals and issues, etc. Effective decision-making skills.
