Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual with experience in project administration and support? Do you enjoy working in a busy environment where you can contribute to the successful delivery of regeneration and city centre development projects? In this role, you will provide vital project support, ensuring the effective co-ordination, administration, and delivery of initiatives that make a real difference to the local community.

AT LEAST THREE YEARS’ EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE IN THREE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

  • Supporting the delivery of funded projects, including financial administration and liaison with funders.
  • Undertaking research to inform projects and programmes of work.
  • Designing, planning and co-ordinating events such as workshops or information sessions.
  • Marketing and communication activities, including the use of social media and print.
  • Applicants without the above qualifications must demonstrate at least five years’ relevant experience.
  • A full, current UK driving licence and access to a car, or access to suitable alternative transport.
Responsibilities
  • Assisting in the effective administration, co-ordination and delivery of regeneration and city centre projects in line with the Council’s Corporate and Community Plans.
  • Supporting the development of consistent project management standards, ensuring compliance with relevant processes, procedures and guidelines.
  • Monitoring project expenditure, processing financial documentation, and preparing accurate financial and performance reports in accordance with Council procedures and funding body requirements.
  • Maintaining project records, databases and information systems, and producing reports as required.
  • Undertaking research on economic issues to support the development of targeted projects and programmes.
  • Assisting with the organisation and delivery of events, workshops, and community engagement activities.
  • Supporting communications, including maintaining online platforms, updating social media, and assisting in the preparation of promotional materials.
  • Providing general administrative support, including preparing presentations, procuring goods or services, and liaising with stakeholders.
  • Ensuring high standards of customer service, promoting the work of the Council, and representing the team in a professional manner.
  • Adhering to all Council policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Equality and Diversity, and Data Protection requirements.
