Contract Type: Temporary, Anticipated 2 to 3 months
Working Arrangement: Hybrid, must be office based 3 days per week.

THE ROLE:

On behalf of a local council, we are seeking a Business Support Administrator/ Project Support Officer to provide project support and administrative support to a Children’s Services directorate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

  • Provide high-quality administrative and business support to senior managers and project teams within Children’s Services.
  • Support the delivery of projects, including maintaining action plans, coordinating meetings, and tracking progress against milestones.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing papers for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records, data, and documentation in line with council policies and statutory requirements.
  • Act as a first point of contact for enquiries, ensuring professional and timely responses.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the directorate by supporting general office functions, such as diary management, meeting coordination, and minute-taking
