COMMUNICATION AND RELATIONSHIPS

  • Communicating with relevant internal and external stakeholders where appropriate regarding project status and implementation issues and escalate any issues as appropriate. * Being involved in and participating in meetings as requested. * Communicating with a wide variety of external professional audiences in line with the existing communication strategies of HI NENC. * Working alongside the Project/Programme Manager and HI NENC Marketing & Communications Team to assist with strategy development, the generation of highquality marketing and communications materials including case studies, and the delivery of key Work Programme information. This will include the generation of reports and information leaflets, and webpage support, as well as the preparation and delivery of presentations. * Effectively engaging with key audiences through the participation in events, networking, and attendance at meetings. This job description is designed to identify key responsibilities of the post. It is not an exhaustive list of duties and will be subject to amendment as necessary in consultation with the post holder.

QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE

Essential * Excellent organisation and communication skills. * Basic knowledge of the processes and procedures involved in project management.
Desirable * Educated to degree level (or be working towards) in a business, IT, health or science related subject. * Experience of working in a project management environment, using a range of project management documentation. * Working knowledge of the NHS, higher education, and/or the healthcare industry sector, as well as working infrastructures and cultures. * Project administration related qualification. * Ability to compile, interpret, and analyse data, to generate meaningful reports. * An awareness of the healthcare and clinical landscape. * Basic understanding of evaluation methods and practices.

Responsibilities

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

The postholder will undertake a range of critical administrative, analysis, implementation and reporting activities to support the organisation’s Project and Programme Managers to develop and deliver projects that enable HI NENC to achieve its strategic goals and objectives. Reporting directly to the Associate Director – Project Management Office, the postholder will also have a reporting line into the Project and Programme Managers they are assigned to support.
