Description
As part of the EMEA Customer Projects Operations Team, the Project Support Manager is responsible for leading the Project Support Team, overseeing daily operations ensuring the smooth execution of projects by providing administrative, logistical, and coordination support; devising and implementing operational strategies and procedures with the aim to enhance the Organization's operational performance. This role is pivotal in supporting customer-facing solution delivery projects across EMEA, ensuring successful execution of complex engagements tailored to client needs. Provide the necessary guidance and oversight to ensure daily operations are efficient, effective, and aligned with project objectives; main activities include monitoring and reporting project progress and analytics, managing documentation, assisting with risk management, and ensuring communication between stakeholders. Provide the necessary support to Customer Project Organization documenting processes and decisions, executing administrative activities within ERP and other Project Management tools, tracking and monitoring project budget and financials, supporting Project Meetings; their work provides the necessary guidance, and support to ensure that the project is executed efficiently, with quality, and within constraints. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a proper governance is defined and implemented, this refers to the tools, structures, processes, rules, and practices that guide how a project is executed, controlled, and delivered. Ensure that governance procedures, frameworks, and methodologies are followed throughout the life cycle of the project, and lead the way to reduce risks, increase the likelihood of project success, and enhance the ability of the team to deliver on time, within scope, and on budget. Support the Customer Projects Team in identifying and addressing gaps in processes and tools required for the successful execution of a project. Ultimately, the PS Manager ensures that the project governance system remains robust, helping the project team navigate the challenges and uncertainties inherent in any complex project. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business operations preferred 8+ years of business experience, within Customer Solutions Project Management area Solid experience in people leadership and talent management Experience in electrical / mechanical, Utilities, Data Center, or equivalent industries Experience with Project Controlling - monitoring and managing a project's scope, time, cost, and risk to ensure it meets its objectives Knowledge of Project Management standard practice and related tools / software such as SAP, Sales Force, Leankor Knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement techniques Experience deploying and coordinating the standard utilization of various tools and processes in business environment of high complexity Must demonstrate financial acumen, strategic thinking ability and strong business acumen Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills throughout all levels of the organization Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams in the development and implementation of initiatives in a highly diverse and matrixed organization Strong ability to achieve positive results Ability to influence decision making of key stakeholders within the business Fluent in English Up to 25% travel time involved
