Description

ESP Associates, Inc. (ESP) is seeking a Project Surveyor for oversight of surveying projects to support the office in Raleigh, NC (Morrisville). This is an excellent opportunity for a survey professional to continue to grow your career in a well-established and growing Engineering, Surveying and Planning firm! Responsibilities: * Candidate will be required to demonstrate strong self-motivational and organizational skills, experience with survey computations and platting as well as field experience required. * Initiate and maintain contact with key personnel and officials of organizations and companies. * Plan, organize and supervise survey crews, technicians and other staff members. * Administer contracts and manage projects, interpret, organize, execute and coordinate assignments. Schedule and assign work to meet completion date. * Land Development survey experience required with emphasis on land development projects a plus. * Experience with following programs preferred: Civil 3D 2016 or higher, Google Earth, Trimble Business Center and Microsoft Word & Excel. * Experience with the following equipment preferred: Trimble data collection, GPS receivers, robotic total stations * Computer skills involved in the submittal of daily files including downloading of data, preparation/organization of field sketches & digital photographs, completion of daily checklists are required. Qualifications: * Licensure as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in North Carolina, preferred. * 5 or more years of progressive experience in surveying management in residential/commercial development preferred. * Candidate will be expected to possess strong self-motivational and organizational skills, experience with survey computations and platting using Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and ArcGIS as well as field experience with Trimble Survey field equipment. * Computer skills involve survey data management using Trimble or Android devices. * Experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Google Earth and IT a plus. * Thorough working knowledge of GPS required. * Candidate must pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company's driving (MVR) policy.
