Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Project Director - PMCM (Project Management and Construction Management) to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will lead and oversee large-scale construction projects, ensuring their successful delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Develop and implement project management strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary project teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement Oversee all aspects of project lifecycle, from initiation to closeout, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget Manage client relationships and stakeholder expectations, providing regular updates and resolving conflicts Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success Analyze project performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and consultants Ensure compliance with local construction regulations, safety standards, and quality control measures Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize project costs without compromising quality Collaborate with senior management to develop business strategies and identify new opportunities Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master's degree in Project Management or MBA preferred PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required; PRINCE2 certification a plus 17+ years of experience in project management and construction management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects Extensive knowledge of the construction industry, infrastructure development, and local regulations in the UAE Strong proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6) and advanced Microsoft Office Suite Expertise in construction management tools, risk management software, and financial management systems Demonstrated experience in contract management and stakeholder engagement Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate multi-disciplinary teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail Exceptional communication and negotiation skills Proven ability to make decisive decisions in high-pressure environments International project experience, preferably in the Middle East Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
