Description
Completed Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Traffic/Civil Engineering 10 years relevant experience in roadway illumination and intersection/traffic signal design, ideally in a design-consulting or utility environment. Must have or be eligible for the P. Eng. designation in Ontario Must be proficient with AutoCAD and Microstation Proficient with AGI 32 and RP-8 is a must Working knowledge of Ontario Traffic Manuals (Book 12, 15, 5, & 7), Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC), Highway Traffic Act (HTA), Ontario Traffic Manuals (OTM), RP-8 (latest version), Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices Canada (MUTCDC), and Technical Manuals published by the Transportation Association of Canada A valid driver's license and vehicle is required Experience with O.Reg 22/04 certification and liaising with utility authorities Experience with pole loading software i.e. SPIDAcalc or equivalent is an asset Experience performing site inspections, construction supervision and contract administration under the above context Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team delivering various complex projects with large size and scope Experience working on MTO Minor and Major Electrical projects Major RAQS qualified is an asset
