QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred 2-4 years of technical delivery services.
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently and identify/resolve process inefficiencies.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
  • Experience with reporting and data analytics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting network and compute devices.
  • Working knowledge of virtualization using VMware ESXi.
  • Experience with server hardware systems including Dell and Cisco UCS.
  • Experience in a multi-vendor network, compute, and security environment.
  • Experience with quoting and estimating technical projects and LOEs
Responsibilities

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As a Validation Architect, you will play a dynamic role interfacing with many teams through the Advanced Technology Center (ATC). You will lead project intake, discovery, scoping, and business development for Proofs of Concepts (POCs) and Lab-as-a-Service (LaaS) opportunities requested for the Lab Services Organization. Your role will involve a high-level understanding of a broad range of technologies related to emerging AI technologies, compute and storage, data center and software defined networking, and enterprise security solutions. You’ll need to navigate complex lab environments encompassing AI technologies network, compute, storage, application load-balancing, and security components. The Validation Architect is the key technical resource assisting account teams with artifact gathering and creating a clear scope of work for the lab services teams. This includes developing High-Level Diagrams, Bills of Material (BOMs), Test Plans, and Pricing Guide Estimates

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project Scoping and Validation:
  • Lead project intake, discovery, scoping, and business development for Proofs of Concepts (POCs) and Lab-as-a-Service (LaaS) opportunities.
  • Gather critical information to define success criteria during the scoping phase, including Level of Effort (LOE), funding mechanism, project milestones, timelines, and build specifications.
  • Create and maintain new and existing process documentation, leading the intake process for the ATC.
  • Capture and document critical business detail for each project, such as financials, funding strategies, probabilities, and opportunity details.
  • Artifact Creation and Analysis:
  • Assist account teams with gathering artifacts, including High-Level Diagrams, Bills of Material (BOMs), Test Plans, and Pricing Guide Estimates.
  • Create a clear scope of work for the lab services teams based on gathered artifacts.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management:
  • Engage with ATC Lab Services Team and technical/non-technical teams to ensure the best product delivery to stakeholders and customers.
  • Foster improved relationship management between customers, WWT Account Teams, and ATC Technical stakeholders by showcasing ATC Product Offerings and identifying key deliverables.
  • Process Improvements and Resource Management:
  • Drive ongoing process improvements for efficiencies and gather resources to provide a repository of examples that drive a consistent product.
  • Articulate efforts to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with their requirements and expectations in the end product.
