Description

We are recruiting for a Project Works Operative, a mobile role with a company vehicle provided, operating throughout the UK. This hands-on role involves the project based removal of ground contamination, Japanese knotweed, other invasive weeds and non-licenced asbestos removal. Primarily working on commercial land and construction sites as part of a small site team.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Experience and knowledge of ground works or construction projects.
Experience of mechanically or manually excavation of different types of contaminated ground.
Awareness of construction and site safety protocols.
Previous experience of construction labouring work, landscaping or clearance work.
Adaptable and flexible approach to work and a drive to provide a quality output.
CSCS card.
Driving licence.
Can do attitude and determination to do a great job.
Confident in using app-based IT and general MS Office IT capability.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE OTHER

Knowledge on Invasive Weeds would also be ideal, although training can be provided.
Preference given to candidates holding a licence for forward tipping dumpers.
