Description

The two data teams within the Data & Analysis department (Facilities & Operations) serve Logius with data products (dashboards, reports, analyses, data apps, and data). You will join the Data Facilities team, where the focus is on serving Logius colleagues working on facilities such as DigiD and MijnOverheid at an operational, tactical, or strategic level.

As a Data Platform Engineer, you will drive the next phase of professionalization for our platform. We are moving towards a modern lakehouse architecture using Kubernetes on our own Logius Private Cloud, with open-source tooling such as Airflow, Spark, dbt, Keycloak, etc. In this role, you will work on the technical foundation of our platform, enabling us to make data accessible to the organization in a secure and scalable manner.

To help the organization grow in this area, this means that, alongside development work, you are sometimes seen as a go-to person for technical questions from both the team and the organization. This implies that you need to be strong technically as well as communicatively, and able to explain matters clearly that are less obvious to your colleagues.

You will join a dynamic team with room for your own initiative and the freedom to find solutions.
