Purpose and Scope: The Projects and Construction Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the seamless operation, maintenance, and management of program-related assets and resources. This position ensures that all program control functions align with corporate and client goals, while meeting contractual requirements. The individual will lead a dedicated team, manage resources effectively, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to achieve operational excellence and drive project success. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of leading a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Qualifications, Tickets, and Licenses: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a similar discipline required. However, 10 years of experience in construction as a manager may be substituted in lieu of formal education. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Relevant certifications in program management, operations, or industry-specific licenses. Proven ability to maintain certifications and tickets required for specific programs. Experience and Skills: Significant experience in program control, project management, or a relevant managerial role. Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar developments and overseeing large-scale construction or infrastructure projects. Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams across a large portfolio of responsibilities. Prior experience working in challenging, remote, or austere environments, showcasing adaptability and resilience. Excellent problem-solving, organization, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in management tools, technology platforms, and work scheduling software. Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, manage competing priorities, and consistently deliver high-quality results under time-sensitive conditions. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact with clients, senior management, and team members effectively. Work Environment and Demands: Work may be conducted in both office environments and active operational sites, requiring adaptability to diverse settings. The role may include occasional lifting, standing for extended periods, and travel to various project locations. Includes work in remote and austere locations, where operation demands and environmental conditions may be challenging. Candidates must be able to multitask and thrive in high-pressure, dynamic environments. Security Clearance Requirement: It is a condition of employment that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role. The employee will require a Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) Department of Defence Security Clearance (Australian) or TS/SCI (U.S.) clearance w/ Poly.
