About the role In this role, you will work closely with the Parks and Natural Assets leadership team to drive service excellence, business improvement and operational performance across the department. You will support the development and delivery of service plans, monitor performance and compliance, lead improvement initiatives and projects, and help ensure high-quality outcomes for the community through efficient, safe and customer-focused service delivery. Key responsibilities include: * Provide subject matter advice when required to the department leaders and other relevant stakeholders. * Maintain relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders by communicating information and updates clearly, concisely, and professionally. * Develop and implement work systems, practices and processes that support responsive and flexible customer service. * Train and actively support others in the team by sharing knowledge to achieve common development goals.   * Lead and support the delivery of projects and programs as required within the department. * Coordinate and ensure all planning, reporting and audit requirements of the department are achieved. * Support unit leaders to ensure audit and risk outcomes are achieved within agreed timeframes. About you To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent level of experience in related disciplines such as Business Management or Project Management. Essential Experience: * Demonstrated people skills to support, influence, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders. * Extensive research and problem-solving skills including proven ability to analyse issues and develop practical recommendations for process improvements. * Technical knowledge and/or experience in maintenance requirements and asset management. * Demonstrated ability to identify changing service levels expectations and make recommendations that inform asset planning and maintenance. * Ability to determine high level program delivery across multiple functional work areas, resolve service delivery issues, and set operational work allocation. * Demonstrated stakeholder engagement experience including developing and implementing communication and engagement plans and associated activities with internal & external stakeholders. * Current Working with Children Check (Employee).
