Description

Manage and lead all site execution activities for OHL and UG cable works, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion. Develop weekly and monthly execution plans, align manpower, equipment, and material resources. Supervise civil and electrical teams for foundation, tower erection, stringing, trenching, and cable installation. Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and ITPs before commencement of work. Coordinate with client/consultant for inspections, approvals, and work clearances. Monitor and control project progress, prepare daily/weekly progress reports, and identify delays or bottlenecks. Ensure all works comply with project specifications, design drawings, and quality standards. Ensure strict adherence to HSE protocols; conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks. Coordinate interface activities between OHL, UG cable, and substation teams for seamless system integration. Verify material deliveries, storage, and handling at site. Assist Project Manager in progress billing, change management, and technical correspondence. Prepare as-built drawings, final test reports, and handover documentation. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university. 10–15 years of professional experience in EHV/HV power transmission and distribution projects (132kV and above). Proven track record in execution and management of both Overhead Transmission Line (OHL) and Underground Cable (UG) installation works. Prior experience working with utilities such as DEWA / TRANSCO / Etihad / SEC / Kahramaa / MEW is highly desirable. Capable of leading multi-disciplinary site teams (civil, electrical, and HSE) to ensure safe and timely project delivery. Strong coordination experience with client, consultant, subcontractors, and internal departments. GCC experience preferred; UAE experience with DEWA / TRANSCO projects will be an advantage.
