Job Description
The position provides the opportunity to work as a full-time Project Executive, who will work to win and manage projects related to agriculture, fisheries, food security, and animal nutrition. The specific tasks of the role are to: • Support the CAVM Dean’s Office and the Academic Departments and Programs in all aspects of public relations, stakeholder and alumni engagement, research as well as student recruitment, and also manage the relationship with the relevant stakeholders. • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and within budget. • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. Ensure resource availability and allocation. • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors. • Support student recruitment into the College educational programs, e.g. via the organization of events, regular distribution of information, and school visits. • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
Minimum Qualification
A graduate (in Horticulture, Agriculture economics, or other related fields); A minimum of 3 years of experience is required.
Preferred Qualification
B.Sc in agriculture, food science, veterinary medicine, or a related discipline.

Expected Skills

  • At least 3 years experience in managing and delivering funded project contracts, which may have multiple long and short-term expert inputs, preferably in the area of agriculture, fisheries, food security, and Animal Nutrition; Proven experience in the preparation and submission of proposals to clients; • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Arabic and English. • Familiarity with the national culture, the food and agricultural sector, as well as the UAEU administrative and educational working environment, Ability to professionally and confidently engage and interact with national and international stakeholders of the private and public sectors, Ability to work independently as well as in a team, Project Scheduling, Strategic Planning & Analysis, Business Development, Vendor Management, Proven working experience in project management, Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
