Salary - $113,574.00 pa - $125,720.00 pa, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for passionate, self-motivated and collaborative candidates, who demonstrate project management skills and critical thinking to deliver operation support projects and initiatives to the Women, Family & Community Safety (WFCS) Directorate.
You’ll work as part of a collaborative team in the Executive Office of WFCS in a hybrid work environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As part of the Executive Office team, you will provide project and operational support activities to contribute to service delivery, service promotion, planning and project development to support the implementation of initiatives to support the WFCS Executive Office.

  • The role will provide general admin support and project officer support for the Women, Family and Community Safety directorate.
  • Undertake / coordinate the delivery of a range of administrative and business services, preparation of routine correspondence and submissions, human resource and finance processes support, procurement activities, asset management processes, and project management administration in compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Review a range of outgoing correspondence, including letters, briefings, submissions, to ensure quality assurance for accuracy, confidentiality and stylistically consistent in accordance with Departmental standards and guidelines.
  • Use relevant technology to prepare documentation and presentation material to support business unit managers and directors.
  • Maintain and update administrative practices, systems and procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery.
  • Respond to and resolve complex enquiries and issues to ensure the provision of accurate information, and the timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Develop working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders to support collaborative practice.
  • Gather, collate and provide background information for the executive to support informed decision making and planning.
  • Engage with and provide timely advice to relevant stakeholders across WFCS, the Department and with external stakeholders.

WFCS leads women’s and community safety policy development, reforms and programs to reduce the impact of domestic family and sexual violence, and to promote and enhance community safety. The Executive Office manages strategic projects and provides operational support to WFCS, valuing service delivery through an inclusive and collaborative team environment.
