Project Type: Data Centre Construction

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update detailed project programmes from pre-construction through to project completion.
• Produce baseline schedules, look-ahead programmes and recovery plans where required.
• Monitor project progress against key milestones and identify schedule risks and opportunities.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers and Package Managers to capture progress and validate programme updates.
• Analyse critical path activities and recommend mitigation strategies to minimise delays.
• Prepare weekly and monthly planning reports for internal and client stakeholders.
• Support resource and manpower planning to optimise project delivery.
• Coordinate planning inputs from subcontractors and ensure integration into the master programme.
• Attend project meetings and provide programme updates and schedule analysis.
• Track procurement, design, construction and commissioning activities against programme milestones.
• Assist with change management and evaluate the programme impact of variations.
• Ensure planning processes comply with project requirements and reporting standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Project Planner within the construction or engineering industry.
• Experience delivering Data Centre, Mission Critical, Pharmaceutical, Industrial or other complex infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project delivery methodologies.
• Experience producing and managing detailed construction programmes.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
