We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Promotion, Marketing, and Sales Specialist to join our growing team and help us expand our B2B customer base.
Position Overview: As a Promotion, Marketing, and Sales Specialist at HSR, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing and sales initiatives to promote our Zero Waste solutions to businesses. You will work closely with our consulting, operations, and People & Culture teams to ensure that all aspects of our marketing efforts align with our organizational goals, branding standards, and brand voice. Your efforts will play a pivotal role in positioning HSR as an industry leader in the Zero Waste space.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in B2B marketing, sales, and promotions, ideally within the sustainability, waste management, or environmental sectors.
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing and sales cycles.
  • Proficient in analyzing, automating, and standardizing reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create persuasive and engaging content.
  • Proficient in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, CRM systems, and marketing automation software.
  • Proficient in Graphic Design (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva) is a plus.
  • Proficient in creating and giving presentations online and in person.
  • Creative mindset with an ability to develop innovative marketing strategies that resonate with business clients.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills and comfortable with public speaking.
  • Excellent research skills to identify new trends and target marketing opportunities.
  • Ability to analyze data and report on campaign performance metrics.
  • Proven experience managing vendor relationships and coordinating external marketing efforts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of sustainability trends and a passion for environmental responsibility is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with teams like People & Culture, Operations, and Sales to align on organizational goals.

Responsibilities
  • Marketing Campaign Execution: Create and execute integrated marketing campaigns to raise awareness of our services and position us as a leader in the Zero Waste consulting and waste management sector.
  • Sales Collateral Development: Collaborate with the sales team to convert qualified leads into long-term business clients by providing effective sales collateral, presentation support, and product knowledge support.
  • Brand Management and Promotion: Promote the company’s mission, services, and unique value propositions through digital channels (social media, website, email campaigns, press releases) and traditional methods (print materials, events, conferences).
  • Content Creation: Produce engaging content, including blog posts, videos, case studies, white papers, and promotional materials that demonstrate the benefits of Zero Waste solutions for businesses.
  • Speaking Engagement Coordination and Management: Ensure proactive speaker placements and engagement as well as coordinate and manage speaking engagements.
  • CRM Administration: Manage Zoho CRM implementation, optimization, and team training.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing and sales campaigns, using data to improve performance and outcomes continuously.
  • Vendor Management: Source and manage relationships with marketing vendors to ensure high-quality, cost-effective marketing materials, campaigns, and external support.
  • Internal Marketing Collaboration: Work with the People & Culture team to develop and execute internal marketing initiatives that promote company culture, values, and employee engagement.
  • Brand Alignment & Service Delivery Assets: Work with operations and internal teams to ensure that all aspects of our organization (customer service, client-facing assets, client interactions, internal communications) are up to date and align with our branding guidelines and brand voice.
  • Website Optimization & Management (Word Press): Ensure our websites are up to date and reflect our brand voice. Drive optimization efforts for lead conversion, UX improvements, and search engine ranking.
  • Internal Marketing: Work with People & Culture to ensure that all employee-facing assets and activities are aligned with our branding guidelines and brand voice.
  • Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies for generating leads and support sales in building relationships with key decision-makers at B2B companies.
