Position Summary Under the direction of the Communications and Marketing Manager, the Promotional Materials Coordinator assists with the Library’s day-to-day marketing and promotional inventory and logistics needs across its five libraries and the Archives, Acquisitions, and Logistics Facility (AALF). Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties as assigned: Coordinate the flow of marketing and promotional materials through the Library’s entire supply chain. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory levels for all marketing and promotional materials, and maintain physical storage spaces in AADL facilities for these materials. Order, ship, track, and oversee inventory levels for general marketing and promotional materials, including but not limited to: event brochures, bookmarks, pamphlets, posters, promotional stickers, pinback buttons, and office supplies. Assist in the physical execution of AADL promotional efforts, including but not limited to: putting up promotional posters, coordinating promotional display screens, display stands, public materials areas, and assorted signage. Assist with the coordination of print and promotional materials for AADL’s Summer Game, including but not limited to coordinating print supplies, stickers, lawn signs, and Summer Game prize inventory. Assist in the coordination of AADL’s fan group, Byte Club, including but not limited to, mailing materials, handling t-shirts, and ordering and tracking inventory on promotional materials. Assist in the production and packaging of materials to be used by Library staff for off-site tabling and marketing appearances. Assist with the coordination of AADL’s various promotional projects, like its sticker vending machine and the AADL mascot. Communicate with AADL staff, patrons, and Summer Game players via email and phone related to marketing and promotional materials, and Summer Game prize-related issues. The position is expected to work occasional evenings and weekends. Requirements Minimum Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated experience coordinating logistics and inventory for a high volume of materials. Strong organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail. Must be flexible and willing to work in situations with multiple deadlines. Customer service experience in-person, on the phone, and/or through email. Strong public service commitment and positive attitude. Ability to collaborate with Library staff throughout the organization. Ability to work independently and as part of a team with accuracy and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications include: Experience coordinating logistics and inventory in the marketing or promotions space. Some marketing or promotions background. Familiarity with the Ann Arbor District Library and its various forms of marketing and promotions.
