Description Propane Dispatcher Job Type: Full-Time, Year-Round (Seasonal Schedule) Work Schedule: September through May: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (40 hours/week) June through August: Approximately 12 hours per week with a flexible schedule Pay Range: $40,000–$50,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience Location: 630 Proctor Ave NW, Elk River, MN 55330 POSITION SUMMARY Beaudry Oil & Propane is seeking an organized and dependable Propane Dispatcher to coordinate propane deliveries, support daily operations, and provide exceptional customer service. This year-round position offers a unique seasonal schedule with full-time hours September through May and reduced, flexible hours during the summer. Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate, schedule, and dispatch propane deliveries (automatic and will-call) to meet customer needs Monitor truck locations and optimize delivery routes using GPS systems Track driver hours and ensure compliance with applicable regulations Handle customer calls, assess service needs, and provide timely support Request and verify purchase order (PO) information as needed Coordinate with internal departments to support delivery operations Support the Division Manager with daily operational tasks Follow and enforce company safety policies and regulatory requirements Participate in the on-call rotation as required Assist with inventory monitoring, transport dispatching, and data entry Perform general clerical duties and other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) High school diploma or equivalent required Previous dispatching experience preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Ability to work flexible hours as needed PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT An employee must meet the physical demands described here to perform the essential functions of this position successfully.
