Description CDL-A Propane Tanker Driver (Michigan and Canada) DHT Group is growing and now hiring Company Drivers for our Propane Division. This role operates a jumbo tanker within Michigan and Canada. Depending on the loads, this position could be home daily. What You’ll Do Load propane by attaching terminal hoses and following all safety procedures Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily Operate a powered industrial vehicle in compliance with state and federal regulations Transport product safely and on schedule while adhering to traffic laws Maneuver truck and tanker expertly in loading/unloading zones and follow crew signals Maintain required paperwork including work orders, invoices, and bills of lading Communicate professionally with Dispatch, terminals, customers, and peers Conduct routine vehicle service checks and report maintenance needs Arrange trailers and verify delivery instructions and route documentation Compensation Package: • Paid per mile • Sign-on bonus up to $2500 depending on experience • Employee-Owned Company Stock option program • Paid vacation and sick time • 401k with partial employer match • Weekly pay - direct deposit • Healthcare Insurance (Medical, HSA, Vision, Dental) • Short-term & long-term disability • Company provided life insurance (buy-up option also available) • Legal Shield & ID Theft Protection • Pet insurance Who We Are: DHT Group, based out of Reese, Michigan has been ensuring safety and satisfaction for over 40 years. Requirements • Licensed CDL Class A Driver • X endorsement • Acceptable MVR • Position is subject to OTR - inquire for your location specifics • 6 months to 1+ year of verifiable Class A truck driving experience Preferred Requirements: • 3+ years of tanker/propane driving experience • FAST PASS Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen • Ability to pass a DOT physical
