MatchBox is partnering with a leading national real estate owner to find an experienced Property Accountant for an immediate contract role on their Vancouver team. This is a 3–4 month contract with a strong opportunity to become full-time. The role is open due to a vacancy and will play a key part in evaluating whether the current team structure meets long-term needs.

• Own the general ledger and working papers for a portfolio of commercial properties
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages for ownership
• Analyze variances and coordinate cross-functionally to provide insights
• Manage cashflow estimates, funding requests, and internal reporting deadlines
• Post journal entries, manage reconciliations, and support audit prep
• Handle mortgage schedules, fixed assets, chargebacks, and related accounting tasks
